It's been suggested that our Field Day group should have more solar power than just what I bring. Not just to
have more power, but to avoid relying on a single person to provide it all. (that's a good idea!) I've also
been asked what I would suggest for a "getting started with providing solar power on Field Day" hardware
selection.

So this guide is my idea of a good starting point for providing solar power at Field Day. This will take
into consideration price, portability, flexibility, and utility. Where possible I'll also try to discuss several
alternatives, ss well as including some optional equipment that has a good return.

I'm not going to include batteries in this guide, since most of us already have batteries and are mostly using
the same ones. Even though large lithium batteries are still somewhat new, they're rapidly gaining popularity,
so you might want to consider switching to lithium for your solar power storage. You probably won't be the
only one using lithium, so you'll be able to share your solar power generation with others.
