I enjoy bird (and other wildlife) watching when I'm on the move (like the bicycle trail) but most of my birds
show up in my back yard, along with a variety of other wildlife. I've crafted my back yard to be a bit of a
wildlife sanctuary within the suburbs, and I've managed to attract a lot of uncommon critters with my feeders
and habitat. I especially like seeing the rare birds, such as large woodpeckers, hawks, goldfinch, orioles,
and anything else out of the ordinary.

In addition to bird seed, I keep a large feeder stocked with sunflower heard, that a lot of critters really
seem to like. Tons of squirrels and various birds during the day, as well as raccoons overnight.

I've also got a trail camera set out that records short videos when it detects motion, and can film in the dark,
so I catch plenty of raccoons as well as the occasional opossum. During the summer I also love to see chipmunks
running around filling their pouches with shelled corn. I've also got a peanuts-in-the-shell cage that bluejays
really adore. (as well as squirrels and the occasional overnight raccoon)
