Steering Gear Boot

Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the outer tie-rod end.
3. Remove the tie-rod end jam nut.
^ To install, tighten to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).





4. Remove the 2 steering gear boot clamps and the steering gear boot.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
