Test C: No Power In Start/Run

Pinpoint Test C: No Power in START/RUN

Normal Operation
The Smart Junction Box (SJB) receives fused battery power from the Battery Junction Box (BJB) fuse 17 (50A) circuit 16 (RD/LG) and fuse 1 (25A) circuit 37 (YE). The SJB then provides the ignition switch with fused battery power through fuse 4 (10A) circuit 1715 (RD). When placed in START, the ignition switch provides a voltage signal to the SJB on circuit 1050 (LG/VT) and sends voltage to the starter relay through circuit 306 (TN/LB). When placed in RUN, the ignition switch provides voltage signals to the SJB on both circuit 297 (BK/LG) and circuit 1050 (LG/VT).

Possible Causes
^ circuit 1050 (LG/VT) open or short to ground
^ ignition switch
^ SJB
