Normal Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) sends a voltage signal to the hood ajar switch through circuit 1304 (VT/OG). When the hood is closed, the hood ajar switch routes the signal to ground through circuit 57 (BK)

Possible Causes
- circuit 1304 (VT/OG) shorted to ground
- hood ajar switch
- SJB
