Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the A/C system is activated when the function selector switch is in the NORMAL A/C, MAX A/C, FLOOR/DEFROST, or DEFROST modes. The PCM controls the cycling of the A/C compressor clutch.

Possible Causes
- circuit 198 (DG/OG) short to power
- circuit 321 (GY/WH) short to power
- circuit 331 (PK/YE) short to ground
- circuit 348 (VT) short to power
- circuit 441 (RD/YE) short to power
- A/C clutch relay
- A/C compressor clutch
- function selector switch
- PCM
