2 advanced FLA box:




This is my "full-featured" version of battery box. It includes a powerpole distribution block with fuses,
on/off power control, and a current/volt meter.

Despite being a very spiffy looking thing, I really haven't gotten much use out of the features. With all the
meters I have, I rarely need to see current, and the on/off relay isn't helping much either. It's nice to
have the easily-readable voltage indicator though.

In the end, I removed the smaller SLA battery and replaced it with a larger deep cycle FLA and took out the
powerpole bar. It's just easier to use a powerpole distribution block when I need it. I don't think I will
be making another box like this - it's just simpler to pack a big battery with a powerpole block (that has
a volt meter in it) and a few powerpole jumpers, that's good enough for most occasions.
