Mikom 250w terminator:


Someone had a stack of these dummy loads for sale at a junk-in-the-trunk event in Cedar Rapids one year, and
they were selling like crazy for only $20/each. I suspect these were from cell tower refurbishment and the
solid state dummy loads were just being pulled and disposed of as gear was being upgraded and the guy was just
turning a buck on what the cell companies were just counting as trash.

These are 250 watt 1800mhz "solid state" loads (no oil), with big cooling fins and type-N connectors. Probably
being used with a circulator at each cell tower bay to dump power in case of antenna failure.

They're marked "Allen Telecom", "Mikom", "ID-NO 143265", and "Termination Resistor DC". I can't find any
reference to them online, so they may have been an in-house component not sold individually.
