Cobra MicroTalk:




I picked up some Cobra MicroTalk LI 75000-WX radios for use when doing tower work. They're solid radios with
full coverage and power, and can be used without a license. You need a radio when you're up much more than
50 feet or in windy conditions. It's a good idea to have an emergency whistle with you as a backup.

THese use a recharegeable battery pack instead of the usual AAA batteries.
