Use these example circuits to install a meter into a radio that either doesn't have a meter or doesn't have
a GOOD meter.

If the radio just has a few bars or lights for its meter, AND has an RF gain control, you can adjust the gain
so that the next light or bar is right at the edge of turning on, to get a more precise bearing.

Linear response to a logarithmic signal level may not provide a good range of sensitivity.
