My Explorer was being converted to a full-time field day / foxhunting vehicle. The headliner was removed
and a sheet metal punch was used to pop holes in the roof for permanent NMO mounts for the doppler. This
makes for a doppler that's both waterproof and ready to go on a moment's notice.
