back to hiding

radios radios:

When I'm hiding the foxes it usually means I'm hosting an event, and more often than not it's a guest event,
so I'm providing all of the equipment, for the hiding AND the hunting.

So I've got a small "fleet" of HTX-202 radios all programmed up and ready to go. They're rugged, easiy
maintained and repaired, easy to operate, have a decent S-meter, and run on AA batteries. (the radios are
actually usually cheaper than the batteries and battery box)

I also have some offset attenuators, though I have some more I need to get assembled. The "good ones" in the
aluminum enclosures are pretty time-consuming to make though.

I use a pair of Tenergy 16-cell bulk chargers to charge all the batteries. The fox boxes also run on AA's,
16 of them per fox! So I have well over 100 rechargeable AA batteries. And that's a lot of batteries.
