2021 N0ZYC FoxBox:




The 2021 update to the fox boxes included adding an additional battery pack to double runtime
(now over 8 hours) as well as the installation of chokes on power, mic, and voltmeter lines.

I may end up replacing the batteries with something like a LIPO pack, which will require installing
a LIPO management board, but for now this is working okay.

2023.11 update: the pigtails on TWO of my fox boxes got their center pins pressed in on the female SMA
connectors on the outside of the box, pressing the RG-174 mini coax 2mm out the crimp on the inside,
disconnecting the antenna. I shoved the coax back in, and used hot-melt glue to strain-relief all four
fox boxes to help prevent that from happening again. If it continues to be a problem, I will add an SMA
coupler on the outside to protect the pigtail from wear and tear.
