2. just about to start:


Players started arriving at the HyVee gas station parking lot around 1:30. Everyone got out their gear,
decided who was carpooling with who else, then we got the briefing from the huntmaster as to the freqs,
timings, and general idea of what we were looking for. Fox-1 was on 146.430 with a transmit time of 60 seconds,
every 3 minutes. Fox-2 was nearby on 146.460 and more challenging with a transmit time of only 30 seconds every
3 minutes, and will be harder to spot.

Most players had offset attenuators, which was good to see. But they're a bit fragile in their basic form, and
one of them got damaged during the hunt. Better get that into a box!

Both foxes were turned on remotely, but were a bit hard to pick up from the starting location. South looked
like a good bet and we all took off around 2:15 to get started.

One player had a beam extending up out of their open sun-roof on a mast. I like that!
