If you have another HT available, bring it along for communications and listening for the foxes to transmit.
This also helps prevent accidentally transmitting into sensitive fox-hunting equipment such as attenuators.
(disable transmit on your hunting radio if possible)

Two low power testing / training beacons (Fox-1 and Fox-2) will be placed at the edge of the starting location
prior to the start of the game, for training new players and for calibrating antennas / receivers.

Simplex (146.520) will be used during the hunt for the hounds to communicate with the huntmaster. Talk-in is
on 146.940, negative offset, with a 136.5 Hz tone. Program those into the radios you will be using to communicate
during the hunt.

Expect the difficulty level of the hides to increase as you search for each new fox. Please do not move or pick
up the fox boxes. If you removed some cover or camouflage to identify the fox, replace that cover or camouflage
before moving on to the next fox.

If you had to drive to get to a spot to take a reading or search for a fox, avoid parking your vehicle where it
blocks traffic. In most cases, foxes will be hidden near convenient parking. Stop in a parking lot if you can.
