RG316 2mm teflon coax
RG316 2mm teflon coax:
This coax is only slightly thicker than RG-174 but is much higher quality. It uses teflon and silver plating,
plus improved shield coverage, and has respectably low loss e even at VHF. (-10dB per 100ft at about 150 MHz)
The jacket is usually a transparent pink, giving the cable a gold appearance. Flexibility is good and it's
well-suited to BNC and SMA connectors, commonly being used for jumpers and mobile antenna feeds.
The common name is RG-316, and the Belden number is 83284.
