Maybe it's not pretty, but it works, and it's both waterproof and sturdy. And maybe a bit overkill with the
ground, but hey, lightning sometimes overkills too. My 10m ground plane there uses a hard gamma match,
making it a 22ft tall lightning rod. Every time it gets hit, there'll be a black sooty char on the vertical
until we get a good rain to clean it off again. Makes a BOOOM that'll wake the dead when it gets hit though!

My neighbor was okay with me sinking a pole into her back yard to give me an anchor point for the end of my
longwire. It gets pretty close to the ground, but I don't have a lot of choice.
