2025.11.06 HCC abandoned repeater 2025.11.06 HCC abandoned repeater:

This equipment was left behind at Hawkeye's Grundy tower. (they may have left the antenna as well)

The controller is a Vertex VXR-7000

The PA is an Anatel BTS-2500-C

The duplexers are Decibel Products GE 19C307166-P1, 450-470 MHz

Also included: several RG-8 / N jumpers and a (MajorPower) modular power supply

And what appears to be a GE Security S713D-RST2 network adapter / power monitor.

It was rescued from the E-waste scrap pile and I suspect someone can quickly turn this back into a decent
UHF repeater.

This is looking like one of Tom/AE0TB's repeaters? 443.8750 W0RBK CC1 DMR E RACES ARES

After chatting more with John (WB0MAR) we determined the motorla amp is a wifi hotspot, the vertex and cans
were being used by the school buses, and the network card with power supply were Hawkeye monitoring gear.

And come Monday. the school called us asking if we knew what happened to their bus radios. oops...
so we gathered back up the vertex, cans, and coax, and went back to reinstall them. Maybe they'll mark
them now?
