4 load testing:




Both of my batteries had been somewhat discharged already, but I got out my 1000w inverter and 600w ceramic
heater to further discharge them and also to provide a bigger load for the solar controller to chew on. The
heater ended up drawing about 475 watts, but that should yield a draw of about 560w on the 12v side. (I need
to make an SB50 inline power meter - I have the parts, I just need to find the time to fab it) I let the
batteries get about fully charged and then turned on the load, to drag them down a ways, and then removed the
load to allow the solar to fully recharge them. Time from setup to tear down was 11am-2pm.
