I was going to do some solar testing but all I got accomplished was getting one of the batteries discharged
a bit. I hadn't realized just how bad the voltage drop was across the #8 CCA I had been using, and the wire
got HOT to the touch. So the solar test turned into a "I need to upgrade my heavy gauge power wire" test.
I was seeing over 0.8 volts of drop ONE WAY on the power wires to the inverter. Unacceptable!
I hauled out the panels but they came back inside without ever being unpacked.
