Someone else went to the bother of testing one of those power banks with the solar panel on one side. It did
slightly better than I was expecting it would. An entire day of solar charging put enough energy into the bank
to send 1.72Wh to his phone, which added 9% to the phone's charge.
So to collect enough solar power to fully charge his phone from dead would require this bank to spend about 12
days in the sun. Now that's not exactly great, but it's also not entirely useless.
