Mark-2 solar frame design:




After the prototype "mark-1" frames got a test, it was time to address the problems discovered and construct
new "mark-2" solar frames. My first thought was to add another vertical support in the middle of the frame, but
that only addressed the problem of sagging and not any of the other issues. It arguably made some problems
worse. And I'd have to cut the horizontals in half. The c-channel in the middle would probably need to be a
double (one for each side), but then it occurred to me I could just split it into two separate frames.

The new frames proved to be a huge success. They were easy to transport and set up. The only annoying thing
was the time required to attach the panels to the frames. (each frame requires 30 zip ties)
