2025.06.02 HW-845 controller testing:


Quick test to see how much noise this regulator generates. It looks like at 25mV at 330khz.
(the vertical thickness of the signal is due to a powerful radio station in my area - AM 1650)

Solar input was supplied with 18v, which is what the MPP configuration resistors were set to. It drew 3.3 amps
(which was a bit more than the expected 3.0 amps) and the board did start to warm up. Efficiency was decent,
converting 44 of 47 watts. (93%) A load of 4 amps was placed on the battery during the test.

I did some additional tests a little later with a static load (10 ohm 110 watt power resistor) and some filters
to both see what sort of interference the controller was generation and how well the filters removed it.
