back to mark 2 combiners

05 two more panel combiners 05 two more panel combiners:

Now that the other 8 panels are in, it's time to make mk2 panel combiners for them as well. I decided that
the plastic scratching on the inside was unnecessary if I was going to be gluing the outside of the ports for
waterproofing, as they would provide plenty of additional support for port connecting. (pushing in) I also
glued the meters on two sides instead of one. I suppose I could have glued on all four sides, completely
waterproofing them, but I really need to cut and attach some smoked plexi on the top to cut down on glare
anyway. Getting in on the sides of the meter near the box sides is really awkward too.

Other than that, the construction was pretty much identical to the first two mk2 combiners. Oh I did position
the powerpoles just a little farther out to give me more room to glue them on the outside. For measure, the
powerpoles stick into the box about the width of a powerpole housing.
