The redesigned string combiner was placed in a larger enclosure to handle up to six panel strings in parallel
and features an output port on both sides for added flexibility during setup. A single 20 amp fuse was placed
between the panels and the meter. Theoretically, six strings should be able to produce over 30 amps, but the
combiner's meter is only good for 20 amps and the solar controller won't handle more than 20 amps with a 12
volt battery arrangement, so 20 amps should be fine for now.
The design is pretty simple, although I tried to waterproof this one a little better. The meter will be a
challenge since rain can get in between the display and the bezel on top, as well as in around the reset
button on the front bezel. (which will need to remain accessible)
