PP to MC4 project:




Here I just connected a PP35 to MC4 connectors using #10 CCA wire. I connect these to all my flexible panels
so they're fast and easy to connect and disconnect. Disconnecting MC4 connectors requires tools and time, and
is just a hassle in general. I don't need long-term waterproofing and strong connections, so PP35's are fine.

I also use green for the positive contact on all my solar panel powerpoles, just as a reminder of what they're
for and what they're producing for voltage. I also use purple for the output on panel combiners, which can be
up to 90vdc, and blue on the output of a string combiner, which can be both high voltage AND high current.
