I bought one of these years ago and it's survived three sets of leaky AA batteries so far. The light is very
directional, so I scuffed up the front plastic cover with a brillo pad and now it produces a very even, bright
light. Just an on/off button, with some weak magnets and a somewhat useless hook on the back.
