Boost regulators transform a lower DC voltage to a higher DC voltage. They usually require at least a few
volts separation, and all of them are limited by the range of input voltage, output voltage, input current,
and output watts. With so many variables, and so many to choose from, make sure you do some decent research
before making a purchase.

Many of these come as bare circuit boards (often attached to a heat sink) so you may also need to buy an
enclosure to install them into. Or at least be ready to bolt them down to whatever you're powering.

Most of them will come with a multi-turn adjustment pot to set the output voltage and the input current limit,
and some also will come with an under-voltage protection pot you can set to turn off the booster if the input
voltage drops below some set low point. (useful for preventing a source battery from deep discharge)
