large 4 pole AC filter project:




I took apart a discarded rack-mount UPS and found the filter / relay circuit was on its own independent board,
so I pulled it out with the intention of making a filter box for keeping inverter noise down and blocking
cross-interference between different accessories plugged in together.

To keep the size down I'm just going to install two duplex outlets, and break the connection between their
top and bottom plugs, and then run each of the four filtered circuits to its own plug. To keep things
portable, I'm just going to install a "D cord" jack for the input. This will both add a little bit of added
filtering and also keeps the box from having an awkward long attached power cord.
