inlet board salvage project:




One easy way I've found to obtain cheap (or FREE) filters is by salvaging it from equipment that's being throw
away or scrapped, that uses a noisy load or power source. Large UPS's and switching power supplies are very
good sources for "inlet filter boards". Some of these will have the filer on a separate board, and others will
incorporate the filter onto the main board. Of course it's easier to salvage if it's on its own board.
