VFM-15C filter project:




I was looking for a more "professional" looking filter - something in a metal enclosure with bolt-down flanges,
instead of just a bare circuit board I had to work out an enclosure for. I spotted these reasonably-priced
filters and picked up a handful to try. They turned out to be dc-only, and there's not much to them internally,
but they seem to do well with filtering out EMI generated from things like DC laptop power packs that are
sending a lot of noise back up the 12v power lines.
