EDECOA contact message: I just purchased a DPP10 (1000w sin) inverter and it's working well with my initial testing. I had a few comments about the manual and a few questions. On page 15 it has the last part of the parallel and series text backward - parallel should say 12v and series should say 24v. And on page 21 the text of the first bullet point is nonsense. I have an older inverter (modified sin) and it has a voltage and a current draw indicator on it. This new unit displays input and output voltage, but I don't see any indication of current draw from the battery, or watts (or percentage of capacity) on the output. I was expecting some indication of how much load the inverter was under (even if only input amps) so I can tell how close to capacity it is, but I don't see it. Is there a way to turn this on, or does this inverter lack that information? (when I turn the unit on, I briefly see some additional information on the LCD test, to the left of the battery symbol, but I can't tell what it is) The voltage is 125v out, which is a little bit high, I was hoping to see 120v. Is this adjustable? The low voltage shutdown occurs somewhere below 10.4 volts in. This deep discharge will damage most battery types, except for deep-discharge. Most inverters are set to cut off at 10.8 volts. Is this adjustable? testing at 13.8v input (at the end of the provided power cable, NOT at the lugs on the back of the inverter) no-load draw: 275mA test load (fan low) drawing 62 watts, requires 5.75A in (92.0 mA/W) / 5475 mA delta = 88.3 mA/W test load (fan high) drawing 90 watts, requires 8.15A in (90.5 mA/W) / 7875 mA delta = 87.5 mA/W 28 watt increase requires 2.4A increase (85.7 mA/W) draw is 275 mA + (88 mA x load in watts) 1000W draw is estimated to pull 90 amps, which very closely agrees with the manual, although this estimate is based on 13.8v, not 12.0v, which is what the manual SHOULD have been basing its 90A estimate on a 200w load (typical for a 100w radio during transmit) would pull a bit under 20 amps Vout is 125 no-load Vout begins to drop at 11.0 Vin beeping begins at 10.4 Vin automatic shiutoff at 10.1 Vin automatic reset at 13.2 Vin
