back to 25ft 10ga power drops

6. more jumpers 6. more jumpers:

I initially bought a 100ft length of the sky-high #10 high strand count zip power wire and cut it into three
25ft and two 12.5ft lengths, to see how well it worked and if anyone was interested in it.

There was moderate interest in the wire, and someone bought one of the 25ft lines, and I was satisfied with
the wire, so I decided to buy another 100ft length and build some additional jumpers. I realized I needed to
have a 50ft jumper for medium distance since the other available options were 50ft #6 (usually overkill), one
100ft #10 CCA (high drop), and one 100ft #6. (often way too long) I also wanted to make a few short jumpers,
even though they won't perform much differently than CCA at such short lengths. (around 6ft) And there are a
few hams here that flat out refuse to use CCA so they might be interested in a few of the short ones too.

So I followed the same steps as listed earlier, creating a 50ft, 25ft, 12.5ft, and two 6.25ft jumpers.

I initially decided to ask $10+materials for the jumpers, regardless of length, since cable length doesn't
change the amount of work required to make the jumper. At least one person thought this was fair, so this is
my current asking price for them:

$15 for 6.25 foot
$25 for 12.5 foot
$35 for 25 foot
$60 for 50 foot
