Thin wire is good for when you don't have a lot of current to move and want something that's small, flexible,
and inexpensive. Single conductor wire is pretty easy to find, but decent twin-lead takes more hunting.
Here's a sample of some of the twin-lead low-current wire that I use.

I really like the marked 14 gauge wire for the bright red stripe on the one wire, but it literally costs
DOUBLE of the Amazon Basics version that's unmarked.
