low battery alarm
low battery alarm:
This is just a simple circuit I threw together to give an audible alert if your battery has reached a
critically low voltage level. It's cheap and easy to build, using very common parts, has a very low idle
current draw, and a very sharp turn-on point. After you've set its alarm point, you can just plug it into
your distribution block and forget about it. If you hear it howl, your battery's flat and should be recharged
or at least disconnected to prevent permanent damage.
