I picked this up awhile ago while looking for a more powerful laser. The literature claimed it was only
5mW but the reviews very clearly said otherwise. It ran on a single TR16340, which appears to be a rechargeable
version of the CR123. It's incredibly bright, and easily draws a line in the sky pointing upward. Other
pointers can do this, but they make a line, and this is more like a light sabor. I can easily put a dot on a
cloud. It's probably a bit on the dangerous side, so I don't get it out often and I handle it with caution.

It's a model "JD850", which probably refers to 850nm. I found it for sale where they don't mention the output
power in the listing but buried in the manual it appears to be 40mW, probably to avoid notice.

Unlike my other pointers, this one has an on/off push-button on the back, and can be left on for an extended
time, or by accident.

Amazingly, I got this off Ali Express back in 2015 and it was DIRT cheap, $3.78 ! The listing claimed 1000mW
though which may have been what caught my interest. (I certainly wasn't expecting the power to be good)
