Tenma 72-1015 auto-ranging Benchtop Multimeter:




This was a more recent (used) purchase from eBay, to replace my old (non-auto-ranging) Tenma with a similar
model that did auto-range. Unfortunately, this meter has a bit of a design flaw in that it goes to sleep
after several minutes of inactivity with the controls. (even if you're using the probes and the readings are
changing) This makes it really annoying to use during a long session of troubleshooting equipment, and is a
feature that really ought to only be active when using the meter on batteries, or at least should have an option
to disable it.
