Micronta Digital Multimeter 22-191
Micronta Digital Multimeter 22-191:
This was my first digital multimeter, a gift from my grandmother from back when I was in gradeschool. It was
easily the most valuable piece of electronics gear I owned at the time, along with my solderless breadboard.
For many years it got almost daily use, and I finally sold it after getting a Fluke 87. I recently picked up
another one at a hamfest, for nostalgia's sake.
It cost $80 back in 1983, quite an expensive gift for a 13-year-old, but I think it's fair to say it was worth
every penny. With no formal education in electronics, it basically held my hand as I learned.
Mine came with a cheap black storage box (that finally fell apart from use) although I don't see any trace
of that box in any listings or descriptions nowadays. I think mine was the one with the continuity tester?
