gaffer's tape:




Gaffer's Tape is basically professional-grade velcro tape. It was designed as a replacement for duct tape to
use when setting up sound and AV systems. The back is matte-black instead of silver to hide it from view, it
tears very cleanly, it's got strong adhesive, but can be quickly and cleanly peeled up after the show is over.
It's also more durable than duct tape. Due to the finish, it can't be written on with pen or marker.

It's also available in a variety of widths, with 2", 3", and 4" being the most common, and it costs considerably
more than duct tape, so I tend to use it somewhat sparingly.
