Tenma 48w soldering station
Tenma 48w soldering station:
I've been using this soldering station for decades now. It's easy to use and works well, but the 48 watts can
be a problem with larger connectors. It's more expensive on Amazon - get it directly from Newark Electronics.
It's got good temperature control, and there's a newer version with a digital readout, but I'm used to using the
old analog LED light strip. The screw-on retailer is by the handle (not by the tip, like Weller does) so it's
easier to change tips. They also sell replacement irons, and I keep a spare on-hand.
