In a moment of frustration with my soldering gun, I bought this to have a big, reliable soldering iron available
for when I needed seriously high heat. My soldering gun was overheating during long sessions, and my torches
kept lighting the wiring jacket (and even the kapton tape) on fire.

The last time I tried to use this I noticed it takes a long time to heat up, which is understandable when you
consider the massive size of the tip. But it started smoking from the back side of the heater element after
awhile, which is not something I was expecting from a product this expensive. Theres a temperature control dial
that should be used to prevent it from overheating. Don't just turn it up all the way to start with - set it
to no more than half, and give it time to warm up. (and it takes AGES to cool down)
