1881 Japanese 1 Yen silver (reproduction):




Purchased on 12/14/2018 for $69 (refunded)

I bought two old 1 Yen coins off ebay. One of the two looked like the color was a bit off, but that can
happen with ebay listings. When I got the coins in though, it was pretty clear the discolored one was a
pretty bad fake.

I messaged the seller and got a partial refund for the listing. (the seller didn't want the fake returned)
