tower stand:




The "tower stand" is a sturdy, movable platform for standing on while working on a tower.

This is a homemade copy of the Rohn tower stand, and is nearly identical in design. The welders didn't want
to copy a patented design until I pointed out this design has been unchanged for over 40 years and the patent
has long since expired. Despite the somewhat tight tolerances, they did an outstanding job and it fits the
tower perfectly. I have a digram for this as well, I will post it if I can find it.
