My "long lift bag" contains a 300 foot static rope (Edelweiss Speleo) that's pretty long, doesn't stretch, and
has a high load capacity, for climbs over 60 feet. (water towers, tall towers, etc) There are no pulleys in
this bag, the yellow shorter heavy lift bag's pulleys will be used when deploying the long lift.
Also inside this duffle is a tool lift bag and 300 feet of lighter rope (Sterling 6mm accessory cord) along
with the usual clip and pulley system as is on my shorter hardware lift bag.
At these heights, wind can be a problem. We had some high winds when I was up on a 125ft water tower, and the
ground crew had to wait for a break in the wind to capture the end of the heavy lift rope because the wind was
deflecting the end 35 feet from the tower and a dozen feet off the ground.
