Unfortunately, the symptoms did not change with the new mag installed. The next most likely problem is a
high-voltage insulation breakdown in the power supply. I pulled the PS to inspect it, and found a small
moth corpse by one of the high voltage diodes in the corner. It's possible it was providing a path, but
unfortunately, that usually means carbon tracks are left in the materials around it, and simply removing the
moth won't necessarily fix the short.
