2013.09 Kirby house vacuum scam:




A door-to-door salesman was selling my neighbor a new vacuum and I decided to get one too. It was expensive
but nice, and the salesman made many promises. As it turned out there were several false statements made,
including promises of a lifetime warranty.

I engaged in a short fight to get a refund (as it had a "no questions asked 30-day return policy) and eventually
got it all back. Fortunately I had made audio recordings of the presentation, which simplified proving my
point.
