KLH ASW12-200B powered subwoofer:




This 12" 200 watt powered bass subwoofer was bought way back in 2001 for $200 with my original sound system.
(it was a great deal at the time)

When the living room entertainment cetner went in, the sub moved and was wired with a wire panel and fishing
wire down, over, and back up the back wall for the stereo.

Several years after purchase, it quit working following a power surge in the house. It turned out to have
burned out one leg of the volume pot, so I just jumpered it to full volume since the volume is controlled by
the receiver anyway. It'll still shake the furniture today though.

It's difficult to find mention of these nowadays, they must have been pretty uncommon?
KLH was bought out and doesn't appear to have been maintained, I can't find any user or service manuals for
this model of sub.
