back to outdoor heat pump

outdoor exhaust unit schematic outdoor exhaust unit schematic:

I noticed this inside the access panel on the exhaust unit while it was being worked on. It's in pretty rough
shape from being outside so long, so I got a few pictures of it in case it's needed later. Ahh the good 'ol
days of when you can open up a thing and there's a schematic on the inside panel. Back when things were made
to be repairable instead of disposable.

The compressor Start Capacitor is rated 161-193uF (220VAC), it's got a 330K 1w resistor across the poles and has
a red wire going to one contact and a yellow to the other contact. I've had to replace it twice now.
The original one was a large, metal can model, and the replacements I ordered ("Blue Stars" brand) are much
smaller black plastic shelled. I think I should go for higher quality ones on my next order.

When this one goes out, the fan turns on but the compressor doesn't start. Eventually the fan turns off too,
and I think this is due to the compressor overheating and the board inside the exhaust unit shutting it all down.

The compressor/fan Run Capacitor is a 25uF / 5uF (220VAC), iirc with the 5 on the fan and 25 on the compressor.
I swapped that out at the same time as I replaced the (failed) Start Capacitor, though it still tests good.
(kept as spare)
