Signage:




The club needs new signage. We've got a metal sign that's probably older than me, and a large blue tarp banner
that is only useful at the event shelter. What we need are several colorful, eye-catching signs we can set up at
key places around the event, to help direct visitors to the event, as well as attract guests from the public.

I'm nobody's idea of a "graphics artist" but I've thrown together a custom print for use with a "feather flag"
to order. I imagine getting four such feather flags, 6-8 ft tall, with bright colors and resistance to wind.

The club has pre-approved a budget of $400 from the club treasury, not including any other member donations
(which we have a few already)

I've already done some initial research online, and BannerBuzz appears to offer good flags at a reasonable
price. I'll also do some comparison shopping locally to see if I can find a better deal. (or an equal deal with
the benefit of a local store and support)

8/23/2023: no better deal to be had. Al (KB0VGG) can probably weld up a nice base for placing one flag at the
event if there's nowhere to plant a spile (like on pavement), added a water bag weight. Order placed, the new
total is $435.90. (less will be billed to the club after donation(s) toward the purchase are credited)
