3 antennas
3 antennas:
I did't get very many pictures of the antennas this time around, though we had at least three verticals and
several long-wires strung up around the cabin. Care was taken to keep things as spread out as possible to avoid
interference. In the end we didn't run any CW or digital though, which is usually the greatest source of problems
between stations, so I don't think we ran into any interference at all.
Al (KB0VGG) and Mark (N8TWO) were the Antenna Masters as usual, and attached tags to the coas as they were pulled
in through the windows so we could easily identify which coax went to which antenna. Mark brought a few pool
noodles and cut them up to use as gaskets in the window, to try to keep some of the cold out. They worked okay,
but struggled to stay in place. Next event we might try cutting a vertical slit in them and attaching to the
sliding window instead of relying on the closing force of the window to hold the noodle in place.
